Soaring into Summer: Eagle’s Pools Celebrates New Location & Free Friday Swims
Cory Eagles started his business journey in 2007 with little more than a shovel, an old truck, and a wheelbarrow. After years of experience in the pool industry he was determined to take his passion and use it to help his community by providing top-quality service, product, and knowledge — with honesty and integrity. Today, Eagles Pools & Spas Ltd. is celebrating the opening of its new location, aiming to better serve Riverview and the surrounding area.
“This new space represents growth for us,” said Cory. “We’ve been in Riverview a long time, and this new location lets us expand and better serve the community we’ve called home for so many years.”
In addition to its offerings of pool and spa supplies, including free water testing, pool chemicals, and even pet food, Eagle's Pools has become known for its heartwarming contributions to the community. This summer, the company will be sponsoring free Friday swims at the Lion Ken Gabbey Outdoor Pool, an initiative aimed at getting more local kids into the water.
“The more kids swimming and enjoying our local outdoor pool, the better. Having the ability to do this type of thing for our community is why I wanted to own my own business,” says Cory.
This commitment to community is also reflected in their grand opening event, where the Eastern Total Chaos Ringette team will be hosting a fundraising BBQ with all proceeds benefiting a player who was recently diagnosed with leukemia.
Cory’s dedication to the community has earned him several accolades, including the Maritimer of the Week award and the distinction of being the first Canadian to receive the Pletco Perfect Pool Guy Award. His passion for making a difference is also evident in his involvement with local initiatives, such as helping to create a therapy pool for a Newfoundland dog named Rosco, which was featured in local media.
"We have deep roots in this community,” said Cory. “I grew up here, raised my family here, and there’s nothing like the small-town feel and the loyalty of the residents and fellow business owners."
Eagle’s Pools invites you to stop by their new location at 620 Coverdale Road (Unit 4) on May 3 from 12 – 3 p.m. for their grand opening celebration. In addition to the fundraising BBQ, there will be cake and a variety of prizes, including a robotic pool vacuum. With summer fast approaching, Cory is already assembling his team to meet the high demand for pool and hot tub services, so be sure to book early as spaces are filling up fast.
“Thank you to our loyal customers for your support over all these years,” said Cory and Marlene. “Our customers and the support from fellow businesses here is why we do what we do.”
