Water Main Flushing to Begin April 14

(RIVERVIEW, NB) - The Town of Riverview wishes to advise the public that water main flushing will be carried out beginning April 14, from Monday to Friday. 

The flushing is required to maintain satisfactory water quality throughout the Town’s distribution system. This routine maintenance will take approximately five weeks. 

Please note that there may be water discoloration or low water pressure during flushing operations. Any discoloration is temporary and should be cleared within a short time. Users are asked to minimize consumption if a change in water appearance is noticed. To prevent staining and to clear water lines after flushing, turn on the cold water tap until the water runs clear.
