Big Heart and Small Prices: We Got Stuff Opens its Doors in Riverview
Kim and Donald Bennett believe that having great clothing shouldn’t cost a fortune, especially now that the price of almost everything has gone up. This belief was the main reason they opened We Got Stuff, a retail store that promises to sell quality new and used items for a fraction of the cost.
They started sourcing items that were unwanted from larger retailers and saw a market opportunity. Opening their store in March 2024, they were immediately encouraged to see so many items flying off the shelves. From clothing and footwear to household items, they hand-pick quality items including new, tags-on pieces and gently used ones, ensuring affordability for their customers.
“Our promise is that whoever walks through our doors, they will get a good quality product for a decent price,” says Kim.
Since opening earlier this year, they have received a warm welcome from residents and businesses in town. This friendly reception cemented what they already knew — that Riverview was the right home for their little shop.
“Riverview has always been a friendly and inviting community, and we are happy that we have been treated like family by many of our customers here,” says Kim.
As they continue to welcome visitors from all over the Maritimes, Donald and Kim are thrilled to introduce a new loyalty program, designed to reward their loyal customers with exclusive discounts and special offers.
Come join in on the fun as they celebrate their grand opening on July 6 from 12 to 3 p.m. at their storefront located on 378 Coverdale Road. There will be complimentary BBQ hot dogs, refreshments, and they will be giving away prizes such as one of four $25 gift certificates and a handcrafted birdhouse. They will also be collecting donations for Riverview P.R.O. Kids and non-perishable food items for the Albert County Food Bank.
