Mill Creek Trail Closures

Please be advised that work is beginning on the Mill Creek Naturalized Detention Pond, a stormwater management project that will support new housing in Carriage Hill and the Riverview Recreation Complex, while improving flood protection and water quality. This nature-based pond will integrate wetland vegetation, ensuring a sustainable solution for managing stormwater in East Riverview.

Some trail access near the construction area will be temporarily affected, and park-goers' patience is appreciated as crews complete this important work.

Trail Closures

• Tree clearing: Monday, March 24 – Friday, March 28
• Pond construction (anticipated): April 28 – August 1

Affected Trails

• Wren's Way (portion)
• Meadow Hill Trail (portion)
• Mill Creek Nature Trail from Runnymeade Road entrance
• Bridgedale Boulevard parking lot

The Town recommends using the Robertson Street entrance to access the park during these times.
