Summer Fun Awaits: SUNFEST Returns to Riverview June 26-July 1

(RIVERVIEW, NB) – The Town of Riverview’s 21st annual SUNFEST summer festival kicks off June 26 with a jam-packed schedule that promises fun for everyone, culminating in Canada Day celebrations in Caseley Park.

“SUNFEST feels like the start of the summer season in Riverview,” comments Mayor Andrew J. LeBlanc. “Riverview residents and our tri-community neighbours are known to enjoy the outdoor programming and special offers from local businesses. We're excited to kick off our summer show series early this year alongside the festival, where we're sure to see families and friends come together and enjoy the fun."

Many SUNFEST events are free of charge, and in addition to the usual favourites — such as the Geocaching Challenge, 3-on-3 basketball tournament, and a free open swim at the Lion Ken Gabbey Outdoor Community Pool — there are also new workshops and events that will cater to a variety of tastes.

Visit the SUNFEST Festival page for the full list of events and details on local business specials.

Summer fun awaits! See you around SUNFEST June 26-July 1.
