Join us for a series of snowshoe adventures exploring trails across Riverview! All adventures are free!

Family Snowshoe

Sunday, February 2, 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. 
Mill Creek Nature Park, 300 Robertson Road

  • Guided by Town staff, your whole family will enjoy this fun adventure along the snowshoe trails to the Lookout, where the BPSA scouts will be offering a tasty treat while supplies last. This event is open to first-time snowshoers and experts alike. The route was planned with little ones in mind, so the pace will likely be slower than an expert. Regardless of your skill level, we look forward to welcoming you at the 300 Robertson Street entrance to the park.

Dobson Trail, 633 Pine Glen Road

  • Enjoy a free guided snowshoe on the majestic Dobson Trail with local guide Marc-Andre Cassie. Immerse yourself in nature, meet new people, and have fun! No snowshoes? Borrow some from the Town (supplies limited). If there's no snow, we'll walk! Don't forget a headlamp or flashlight. Adventure is not suitable for little ones on a sled due to trail terrain and conditions.

Tuesday, February 4, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. 
Winter Wonderland Park, Quinn Court

  • Enjoy a free guided snowshoe through Winter Wonderland Park, across the foot bridges and on to the majestic Dobson Trail with Town staff.  Immerse yourself in nature, meet new people, and have fun! No snowshoes? Borrow some from the Town (supplies limited). If there's no snow, we'll walk! Don't forget a headlamp or flashlight. Adventure is not suitable for little ones on a sled due to trail terrain and conditions.

Youth Guided Snowshoe

Wednesday, February 5, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.

  • Enjoy a guided snowshoe with Town staff along the Riverfront Trail, east of the Gunningsville Bridge. Immerse yourself in nature, meet new people, and have fun! No showshoes? Borrow some from the Town (supplies limited). If there's no snow, we'll walk! Don't forget a headlamp or flashlight.
