Housing Development

A GREAT PLACE TO... CALL HOME

Being within one of the fastest-growing census metropolitan areas in Canada, the Town of Riverview, because of its ability to attract and its land availability, represents a huge opportunity for housing. Over the last few years, the rise in inter-provincial, international,  and intra-provincial migration, paired with our aging population and the growing prominence of the millennial generation means housing demand is evolving in Riverview. A mix of affordable, multi-bedroom, barrier-free, accessory dwellings, and other housing types are needed to fulfil the needs of our changing resident profile.

Housing Development

Riverview’s sense of community and familiarity isn’t going anywhere, and new residential development growth is needed to allow long-standing residents to stay in Town and access housing options that are aligned with their needs across all walks of life, and to maintain our ability to welcome new residents. Here, you can expect a balance of small-town values, while embracing change and development. To learn more about what makes Riverview a great place to develop, visit Invest in Riverview
