Section-hikers and thru-hikers who complete the entire Dobson Trail, Fundy Footpath, or Fundy Trek can report their journeys to the Town of Riverview by filling out the application. Those who submit their applications will be added to the annual recorded "class", and will receive a digital certificate of recognition, signed by the Trailmaster(s). Each year, the names of those who have reported hike completions in the previous 12 months are published to social media and listed on the website; the deadline is December 31 of the previous year. Our complete online yearly class of hikers will be updated periodically.
Applications may take upwards of 30-60 days to process and have certificates signed. We ask for your patience while your application is processing.

Recognition Policy:
- We hold high expectations of hikers that include treating the natural environment, Fundy communities, other hikers, and our partners — whose land the trail passes through — with kindness, respect and cooperation;
- We operate on the honour system;
- We give equal recognition to thru-hikers and section hikers;
- We recognize hikers regardless of sequence, direction, speed or whether they carry a pack;
- In the event of an emergency, such as a flood, a forest fire or an impending storm, yellow-blazed trails or officially required road walks are viable substitutes for the white (Fundy Footpath) or blue (Dobson Trail) blazed route.
