2024 Capital Projects Underway

The Town of Riverview is pleased to highlight some of the 2024 Capital Projects that are underway for this year’s construction season from May to October. There are many streets and other infrastructure that will receive much needed care and remodeling this summer, including:

• MacAllister Park - Storm & sanitary upgrades
• Henderson Avenue – Replace underground wires
• Coverdale at Golf Club Rd. – New traffic signal
• Blythwood Avenue – Watermain renewal
• Mitton Road – Street and culvert reconstruction
• Manning Road - Street reconstruction, watermain and sewers
• Sherwood Avenue - Street reconstruction, watermain and sewers
• Suffolk (Strathmore to Crystal) – Street reconstruction, watermain and sewers
• Westview Terrace – Street reconstruction, watermain and sewers
• Birkdale Drive – Asphalt seal
• Darwin Drive - Asphalt seal
• Elmore Court - Asphalt seal
• Innwood Court - Asphalt seal
• Ridgeway Drive - Asphalt seal
• Windsor Street - Asphalt seal
• Hillsborough Road (Old Coach to Harmony) – Surface mill, asphalt overlay, and curb replacement
• Wilson Road – Surface mill, asphalt overlay, and curb replacement
• Yale Avenue - Surface mill, asphalt overlay, and curb replacement
• Runnymeade Road – Water tank epoxy recoating

Residents are urged to take care and slow down in construction areas to ensure their safety as well as the safety of pedestrians and construction crews. Motorists are advised to plan ahead while travelling over the summer and early fall months as these projects may cause delays and detours to usual routes.
