Fall Into Fun - Harvest Fest Returns to Riverview for its 15th Year
(RIVERVIEW, NB) – The leaves are changing, and the crisp morning air has returned, which means that Riverview’s annual fall festival is around the corner. Harvest Fest is happening September 20-22 this year, and all are invited to join as the Town celebrates the food, fun, and friends that make fall a favourite season!
The weekend includes fabulous business specials and activities for the young and young-at-heart. From creative workshops and mouthwatering meals to opportunities to get active and enjoy the outdoors, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Family Fun Day is always a highlight of Harvest Fest weekend, taking place on Sunday, September 22 in Caseley Park from 1-4 p.m. This year’s free entertainment includes bluegrass band Shane Douthwright & The Virtuosos, comedians, and dancers. Activities for all ages will be available — whether you’re looking forward to laser tag, face painting, inflatables, the Multicultural Market, Connect4 Tournament, or the community mosaic project with Tim Isaac, it promises to be an afternoon to remember!
Want to add a festive flair to your doorstep? Beginning September 4 residents can sign up at townofriverview.ca/pumpkin to be part of the Pumpkin Palooza decorating contest. Kits (including a straw bale, pumpkin, and corn stalks) can be picked up starting September 12 and the draw to win will be made September 24! All those who send in a photo of their display will be entered to win. The only limit to your harvest display is your imagination so get creative and enjoy the many other displays around town this month, including local businesses. Locations will be indicated on our online map at townofriverview.ca/pumpkin.
