Holiday Waste Collection and Christmas Tree Pick-Up

RIVERVIEW (N.B.) - The Town of Riverview would like to advise residents of changes to the waste collection schedule over the Christmas and New Year Holidays. While Tuesday collection (Wards 3 & 4) proceeds as usual, Monday collection days (Wards 1 & 2) are being adjusted. They are as follows:

• Collection on Monday, Dec. 25 moves to Saturday, Dec. 30
• Collection on Monday, Jan. 1 moves to Saturday, Jan. 6

To keep both workers and residents safe, please do not place garbage bags on top of snow banks. Crews are not permitted to climb snowbanks to collect items. Instead, place waste at the end of the driveway about a metre from the road, where they will be visible to crews.
 

Christmas tree pick-up

During the week of January 8, 2024, place your natural tree curbside on your regular pick-up day for collection. Please ensure that all decorations, tinsel, and lights are removed from the tree. Please note that due to demand, your tree may be collected a few days after your regular waste pick-up day.
