Rock N’ Roll Revival in Riverview: Matt’s Media Outlet Strikes a Chord

When you walk through the doors of Matt’s Media Outlet, the devotion and pride imbued into the business is immediately apparent.

A secondhand rock n’ roll-pop culture shop, Matt and his wife Angela are dedicated to their buy, sell, and trade storefront on 26 Trites Road. You can count on getting the best price for whatever it is you bring in, as they have a passion for repurposing items that would otherwise end up in a landfill. Giving secondhand items a new life and a chance to be cherished by someone else is their specialty. They take great care in maintaining a clean and inviting atmosphere, as everything is thoroughly washed before being displayed, ensuring that customers feel comfortable and safe while browsing the store.

“There is a strong community presence in Riverview. We were at Carson’s Flea Market in the Caledonia Industrial Park in Moncton for about 2.5 years, and when we opened up this full-time business we never looked back,” says Matt.

The couple’s store is a haven for music enthusiasts and collectors alike. From vintage records and instruments to video games and rock n’ roll shirts, Matt’s Media outlet offers a wide range of items that cater to every fan’s tastes. Matt takes pride in curating a selection of merchandise that exudes a vintage style, giving customers a nostalgic experience with every visit.

In addition to being the only buy, sell, and trade shop in Riverview specializing in rock n’ roll and pop culture, Matt’s Media Outlet also has a strong community connection. You will always find patrons browsing through the record collection, and they have built lasting relationships as they share their own memories tied to the music found in the store. These interactions inspire Matt and drive him to continue to serve the community with his unique offerings.

“Community means strength and support. We have excellent working relationships with other businesses, such as Dayzee’s Fashions, and are proud to share a common goal of supporting the local economy, promoting sustainable shopping, and fostering a vibrant marketplace within our town,” says Matt.

The love for music, dedication to the community, and commitment to sustainability permeates every corner of Matt’s Media Outlet. It’s not just a business, it’s a welcoming hub where rock n’ roll enthusiasts and like-minded individuals come together to commemorate their shared passions. Now celebrating seven years in business, with Matt and Angela at the helm, it’s safe to say that Matt’s Media Outlet will be as long-lasting as the records adorning its shelves.
